M&P Engineer

We are seeking skilled M&P Engineers to join our client's proactive and innovative team. The successful candidates will review concessions and approve them on behalf of M&P on a number of high-tech projects and products, covering both metallic and composite components.

• Material Selection & Qualification: Evaluating materials (aluminum, titanium, composites) and processes (welding, brazing, 3D printing) to ensure they meet design requirements.
• Surface Treatment & Coating: Evaluating processes and technologies (anodization, plating, painting) for corrosion resistance to ensure they meet the design requirements.
• Production Support & Quality Control: Troubleshooting manufacturing issues, conducting root cause failure investigations, and dispositioning shop floor non-conformanaces.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring materials and processes comply with aerospace certification standards (e.g., FAA, EASA, REACH).
• Documentation: Creating and maintaining material specifications, process documents, and engineering reports. 

• Engineering accredited qualification from a recognised seat of learning.
• Degree in Materials Science, Metallurgy, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

• The ability to navigate, understand and implement customer and client procedures, protocols, Standards and Materials/ Processes Specifications
• Strong understanding of aerospace materials (metals, composites, coatings, adhesives).
• Knowledge of AS9100, NADCAP, ASTM, AMS, MIL standards.
• Ability to write clear technical documentation, reports, and specifications.

• We will consider candidates at all levels of the career spectrum, from Engineering graduate wishing to specialize in M&PE right through to experienced Senior M&P Engineers.
• Ideal candidates will have held M&P approval signatory prior to this application, and be familiar with all manner of materials, processes, coatings and fastenings in conjunction with Aerospace / Marine / Automotive or other similar high-tech industry. Previous experience working with concession support is essential.
• Experience with aerospace special processes (heat treatment, NDT, bonding, welding, etc.).
